Recreational League/ Option 1 (Intermediate league):


•What ages are accepted in Recreational league?
--Recreational league is for boys and girls from 2 ½ years old to 11 years old who are not yet in middle school.

•Are try-outs required for any of the recreational age groups?
-- Try-Outs are not required for any of the recreational or middle school leagues.

•How do I sign up for this league?
-- Hover over PROGRAMS and click REGISTRATION INFORMATION

•Can I sign up to coach?
-- Volunteer coaches are always welcome. Please choose Head Coach on the registration form when you get to the VOLUNTEERS area of the registration process. Registration fee is waived for a coaches child. All coaches are required to provide their date of birth for a background check, are required to complete and sign a Volunteer Disclosure statement and attend the preseason coaches meeting.

•What does it cost?
-- Costs associated with the league are on the registration form.

• Are scholarships available?
--
Scholarships are available on a limited basis. Please choose the Lucas Johnston Memorial Scholarship as one of the programs that you are registering your child for. Scholarships have a maximum value of ½ of the registration fee. Uniforms do not qualify for scholarship

•When and where are practices?
-- Practices are set by the coaches at a time and place of their choosing.

What are the dates that the league plays?
--We have leagues both spring and fall with games being played on Saturdays from early morning to late afternoon.

•Where are the games played?
-- All games are played at the Langoni Sports complex on west 24th street west of High Avenue. Option 1 teams are required to travel usually only South Denver to Colorado Springs.

•On cold days can my child wear clothes over the uniform?
-- Soccer is an outdoor sport just like football, snow skiing, etc. Some days may be cold. Players should dress in layers with the uniform remaining outside of other clothing.


Middle School League:

•Who can play in the Middle School league?
-- 6th thru 8th grade students in middle school and home schooled children of the appropriate age and grade level. 5th graders must play in the middle school league if they are 11 years old prior to August 1.

•Are try-outs required for any of the recreational age groups?
-- Try-Outs are not required for any of the recreational or middle school leagues.

Advanced League:


•Who can play in advanced league?
-- Boys and girls 10 to 18 years old may tryout for an Advanced league team. Players must be at least 10 years old prior to August 1. Players who turn 18 prior to August 1 must show proof of being enrolled in high school.

•Are try-outs required?
--Advanced league players must attend seasonal try outs. Try outs occur the first 3 days after Memorial day for U-11 to U-14 boys and girls and HS Girls. Try outs for HS boys are held after the HS playoffs are over.

-- Home games are played at the Langoni Sports complex on west 24th St. west of High St. Advanced league teams are required to travel for away games. Away games are normally at Front Range cities but may be anywhere in Colorado.


Summer 3v3 League:



•Who can play in 3v3 league?
-- Boys and girls from 4 years old to 11 years middle school children and adults.

•Are try-outs required for any of the recreational age groups?

-- Boys and girls from 4 years old to 11 years middle school children and adults.
