FIELD/ LOGISTICS DIRECTOR
- Coordinate operation of all sites with site
directors.
- Arrange for paint and painters for fields.
- Coordinate Lining/ Painting of fields with
Painters and Site Directors.
- Recruit volunteers. This position comes with a committee to assist with the
painting of fields, delivery & pick-up of nets/goals etc.
- Arrange for radios or cell phones for
communication between fields, medical personnel and tournament officials.
- Arrange for portable restroom facilities and
trash containers & extra trash bags.
- Arrange for site administration trailers,
referee and concession tents, portable heaters, tables, and chairs.
- Coordinate with Site Director on placement of
site administration trailer, referee and concession tents, and vendors.
- Coordinate for all security at all sites –
Verify times prior to event.
- Formulate and execute vehicle parking plan/
parking passes
- Complete post–event report with recommendations.
- Coordinate with committee the delivery and
pick-up of trailers/tables-chairs/nets.
This position involves
delegation of work to committee members– but also ensuring that the
preparations get completed. This
positions also works with the School District 60 Maintenance Team as well as
the Sheriff’s Department work-crew.
